When I was a little kid, I was fascinated with ants. ​ I stared at them for hours. I would follow up on a single colony for week.s I read books about them (highly recommend Bernard Werber's books. Truly innovative) ​ Do you know how to find a colony? ​ You tap an ant. ​ It panics and runs home. ​ Back to where it's safest. ​ People are the same. ​ That's why we shout 'Mommy!' when we're scared. ​ I had an audit last week with this techie founder. ​ He was lost— Couldn't figure out how to gain more users So what does he do? Build another feature. ​ That's his safe space. Instead, he should pick up the phone (or LI DMs) and get clients the old-fashioned way, getting them talking about his product. ​ It doesn't matter if your app has 12 or 13 features if nobody's using it.
